Abhi-n-Ash: Ram-n-Sita In Hollywood ‘Ramayan’?

Posted by Kokolicious on July 18th, 2008

Very soon Hollywood filmmakers are going to screen the favorite Indian mythological epic ‘Ramayan’. The brain behind the idea is Ashok Banker who has already written a series of seven books on the subject. Ashok will convert the series of novel into cinema soon.

Ashok is currently busy on the project with a Hollywood Production and revealed that sarkarraj1p.jpgAbhishek Bachchan (Abhi) and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (Ash) are his first choice for playing the role of Ram and Sita in the movie. Signing the couple in the key roles would make a history in Hollywood with a Bollywood Couple playing the lead roles in any Hollywood movie. Moreover, it will be interesting to see if who plays Ravana in the venture…perhaps an India would be more appealing. What do you think?

Now when Hollywood has finally decided to picture the most worshipped epic of India, there are high hopes for this being an interesting movie full of special effects and classic drama. And if, Abhishek and Aishwaraya play the lead roles, the movie is bound to do wonders in India as well.

Meanwhile, some Hollywood stars like Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig also seem interested to work in the movie. while, Abhi and Ash have sent their consent to take on this challenge.

Let’s wait and watch if how this historical drama of eternal struggle between good and evil unfolds in Hollywood!
