Karishma Misses Comeback Out Of Fear Factor

Posted by Kokolicious on September 9th, 2008

If Karisma had not been scared of shooting in Kashmir Valley, Bunty Walia and Director Rahul Dholakia‘s Lamha would have been her much-touted comeback on the big screen. As per the reports, Karisma had been finalised to play the female lead in Lamha, but she pulled back at the last minute because she was afraid of shooting in troubled Kashmir valley. A significant part of the movie is going to be shot in Kashmir valley.

However, the search for the co-star opposite Sanjay Dutt has been over now and Bipasha Basu has been finalised for the role. Bunty told a news daily, "Yes. Bipasha is doing Lamha. She suits the role perfectly."

As rumoured earlier that Ameesha Patel and Sonam Kapoor might star opposite Sanju Bawa. However, Dholakia explained, "Like we do in every casting process, Bunty had spoken to a few other girls. We had finalised on Karisma who said that she loved the role. But later, she got back to Bunty and told him that she had reservations about shooting in the Kashmir valley."

Moreover, Rahul and Bunty are more than happy to have Bips in the project, "Bipasha is willing to spend a lot of time in the Kashmir valley and learn the way a Kashmiri girl should speak. We are not disappointed that Karisma is not doing the film."

Hey Karisma! If you are really planning to make a comeback to Bollywood then you have to shatter your fears. And, you need to have the similar courage and passion which you had before marriage.
