Salman-Katrina: Together on Silver Screen

Posted by Kokolicious on November 18th, 2008

It’s always interesting to see off screen bollywood couples pairing on screen. Sometimes their real life chemistry clicks in reel life, but not always. One of the hottest pair of bollywood- Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif seem to be taking no chances; with their upcoming movie- Yuvvraaj just around the corner, let’s check out the films they’ve done together.

Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya

The first time we saw them on screen together, he was impossible to warm up to with that atrocious accent and she was impossible to not gape at. Then again, maybe we didn’t like Sallu out of sheer envy.

The couple acted together in Partner but in an open-relationship sort of the way. Salman did great opposite Lara Dutta while the Katrina-Govinda pairing pretty much stole the show. The quirky casting really brought in the crowds.

Both actors had a cameo in Hello peopled by younger actors. They were all over the misleading promos, though, and Salman‘s accent might have been the worst thing about this spectacular dud.

Subhash Ghai knows romance, and he’s shown us some good stuff back in the day. He looks to be working off his rust with Yuvvraaj, and despite Salman scaring us — and Beethoven — in the soundtrack, Kat simply looks ethereal. Wow.
